Coming home to yourself

Coming home to like minded souls

Coming home to the bigger whole that we are part of

Coming home to the teachings

I'm so excited to take you for the fourth time on an afternoon filled with yoga, movement, immersion & relaxation on a spot next to the nature reserve of the Dijle valley, away from all bustle.

Do you know this moment that you just ‘know’ what to do? That kind of knowing without knowing? Where does that come from? Our bodies are the result of millions of years of evolution and all of this innate wisdom is packed in our body-mind. Together we will look at and investigate certain body systems that will help you enhance your intuition so that you can get out of your head and start to trust that deeper sense of knowing.

My goal is always to use elements of yoga, free movement, meditation, journaling and a hint of philosophy to explore these ideas in our bodies, so you integrate the material into your whole being and it really becomes part of who you are.

Who is this retreat for:

  • yogi's

  • for wandering souls & curious movers

  • if you're open to enrich your yoga practice with different elements like meditation, free movement and yoga philosophy

  • if you see your practice as an avenue of exploration and self-discovery

  • for anyone who loves dynamic movement (we might break a sweat!) but also silence and tranquility

Schedule (exempt of changes):

  • 10.00 - 11.15h: vinyasa inspired movement session

  • 11.30 - 12.45h: yin & journaling session

  • 12.45 - 14.00h: lunch break

  • 14.00 - 15.30h: walk or talk

  • 15.30 - 16.30h: mantra & closing circle

De Baarbeekhoeve is a historic farm from 1800 on the border of the nature reserve of the Dijle valley, near Mechelen. The farm has been converted and renovated with respect for the old character and with use of natural and ecological materials. The fertile grounds surrounding the farm are used to grow vegetables and fruit, that are sold, straight from the field, in the farm shop. The old barn got transformed into a space for workshops, courses and meetings.

I absolutely got what I hoped for. I returned home with a feeling of surrender to the flow, harmony and movement, of which Lies' classes are always and wonderful example.

The surroundings are an absolute recommendation, a magnificent farm in a wonderful piece of nature.

I defenitely feel like returning and being part again of a mini retreat, because that is really how it felt.

The deepening of a theme before the class had a positive effect on the experience.

Also the next day I felt pleasant, relaxed and energetic.

The inspiring theme continues to work.

Very nice that there is a lot of freedom to do your thing. Everything happens in a positive atmosphere.
