In this class get to know Embodied Flow™, a unique system of yoga that invites you to explore your deepest self. Through a blend of yoga asana, free movement/movement meditation and philosophy rooted in tantra, it brings you to experience flow.
The combination of these elements invites you to explore the material that we work with in both your body and mind, allowing you to integrate and embody it in all of the layers of your being. This way it really becomes part of who you are and your practice becomes much more than a quick fix on your mat.
From the focus on a specific theme I will guide you from the familiar structure of asana into free movement. You will not find yourself ‘randomly dancing’, but you will explore movenement with a specific focus so that you don’t feel lost. It is one thing to be able to follow the instructions of your teacher, it is another to be able to listen to the innate intelligence of your body and to let it guide you.
Since 2017 I have been following teacher trainings at this school that is so special to me. This class is a part of my training and therefore will be given in English and will be filmed, not to judge you, but for me as a teacher to be able to get feedback from my teachers.
A yoga posture can be simply a mechanical action, an excercise.
That's fine if that's what you want.
Is that what you want?
If you desire more, then begin not by diligently forcing yourself into the forms,
but let the forms emerge from you.
-- Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen
